Gym Class Heroes "Space Cowboy" with Panic! at the Disco

Panic! at the Disco will reportedly be recording their own version of *NSYNC’s “Space Cowboy” with Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy for an upcoming ’90s pop covers album.

The song is set to be part of a compilation which sees bands covering classic pop songs, with other bands slated to appear including Cute Is What We Aim For and Taking Back Sunday.

Reports that Panic! at the Disco would collaborate with Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy for a ’90s-pop covers album are false, as we now have word the compilation isn’t happening.

Gym Class Heroes Bumbershoot Festival

Labor Day Weekend ’07 (Sept. 1-3) will bring Seattle’s annual Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, and the complete lineup has just been released to the public. Among the performers will be Gym Class Heroes, Fergie, John Legend, Wu-Tang Clan, Panic! At The Disco, Kings Of Leon, Joss Stone And Crowded House.

Gym Class Heroes mini-festival appearance

Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco are to set to headline a mini-festival in the summer.

Peter Wentz plans to bring a host of other hot acts signed to his Decaydance label including Gym Class Heroes and Cobra Starship for the one day event at Hammersmith Carling Apollo on August 22.

Gym Class Heroes Voodoo music experience

Gym Class Heroes is one of the announced acts at the ninth Voodoo Music Experience in City Park. The festival, expanded to three days, opens on Friday, Oct. 26, and wraps Sunday, Oct. 28.

Other bands on hand will include Smashing Pumpkins, Wilco, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Fall Out Boy, the Black Crowes, Sinead O'Connor, Kings of Leon, Common, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Spoon, Toots & the Maytals, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Tiesto in Concert, La Coka Nostra featuring Everlast and members of House of Pain, Coheed and Cambria, and Zap Mama.

Gym Class Heroes Street Scene Festival

The Killers, Panic! at the Disco, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Gym Class Heroes, Too Short, Social Distortion, Spoon, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Air, Brand New and the Academy Is ... are among the artists confirmed for this year's Street Scene festival. The two-day event will be held September 22-23 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego.
